Updates and Upcoming Events

I am always so honored and frankly humbled when I meet readers who say “I look forward to Friday mornings when your blog will be waiting in my inbox.” But there’s just a little pressure there too! So when the days get away from me and all of a sudden it’s Thursday night and the latest blog article is still percolating in my head then I feel like I’m letting you down.

So today I want to offer you a little hint…

I’ve long heard about the beautiful handiwork my husband’s grandmother and great-grandmother did. However, most of it was packed away and I’ve actually seen very little of it - until recently! I am currently guarding-over several quilts, crocheted bedspreads, knitted shoes, embroidered table runners, I don’t think I can even list them all. This is me promising to get good pictures of them and share all the details with the next 2 weeks.

In the meantime, I keep quilting - and here’s a picture my daughter snapped to prove it. (She doesn’t give you any warning that she’s taking a picture, so you get to see my serious-look!)

FINALLY, I’m hoping to see a whole bunch of you on the 127 Yard Sale next week. I’ll be setup on the corner of Hwy 127 and Martha Washington Road. Everything is so strange this year that I hardly know what to expect - I’d actually appreciate your comments below on how you’re feeling about getting out to the big, annual sale. I love connecting with you readers and the opportunities this year are just so slim that I wanted to at least try to get out a little - even if we have to all be in masks!
